BSN team attended the 1-day discussion session hosted by Sci Dev Net and INASP in Kathmandu Guest House, Thamel, Kathmandu on 28/Feb/2016. At the event representatives from BBC Media Action Nepal, Himal SouthAsian (HSA), Democracy Resources Centre Nepal(DRCN), Chitwan Medical Sciences (CMS), Kathmandu University (KU), Local Interventions Group (LIG), Integrated Development Society Nepal (IDS-Nepal), Centre for the Study of Labour and Migration (CESLAM), South Asia Institute for Advanced Studies (SIAS), Institute of Engineering (IOE), Central Department of Geology from Tribhuvan University (TU), Nepal Water Conservation Foundation, and ICIMOD highlighted the issues on pre and post-disaster status in Nepal, its effects, preventive measures and also gave suggestions to reduce its effects.
