Biomedical Equipment Management System (BEMS)

Biotechnology Society of Nepal ( BSN ) are involved in the appropriate handling of medical equipment. Since COVID-19, Biotechnology Society of Nepal (BSN) has collaborated with Robotics Association of Nepal ( RAN ), Nepal Health and Research Council (NHRC), and Ministry of Health and Population ( MoHP) to repair, install, maintain, calibrate, and oversee the biomedical equipment in government hospitals throughout Nepal.

BEMS | bems.mohp.gov.np/ is a biomedical equipment inventory system of all the government hospitals in the country for the resource planning, repair and maintenance of the Biomedical equipment’s in the country.

In order to plan and organize the Biomedical Equipment Management System for hospitals in the provinces of Bagmati and Karnali, PIC recently met with Dr. Madan Upadhyay, the director of QSRD.
