With its own resources, New ERA seeks to assist promising young Nepalese students from Universities in Nepal by providing them partial support for field research related to their thesis for Masters’s Degree. Applicants who have completed their course work for Masters’s Degree, have successfully completed their first year or second-semester exam, and are planning field research are eligible to apply.

The fellowship program has a rolling application and accepts applications throughout the year. The application form and other details about the fellowship program such as the format for the proposal can be download from Guidelines (Please click) and Application forms (Please click).  Completed applications can be submitted to the New ERA office. Additionally, interested candidates can review an advertisement published in Kantipur Daily Newspaper on March 4, 2017.

Dalit, disadvantaged Janajatis, differently-abled, students from remote areas, and female candidates are especially encouraged to apply.
