BSN Bulletin is an initiative undertaken with the vision to spread knowledge about life sciences to the students as well as the general public. It is intended to be a semi-annual magazine with an aim to:
⦁    Improve student participation: 
Instead of being limited to studying for their course, we encourage students to expand their boundaries, explore their scientific interests, and write about it. Not only does this improve their reading and writing skills, it also enhances their inquisitiveness to learn. Publication of the article will also help them connect with like-minded individuals with whom they can share their ideas as well.

⦁    Connect with the general public: 
Out of around 29 million Nepalese, at least a small percentage of them would come across ground-breaking biological research abroad and want to know if anything similar is being done in Nepal. Or maybe some percentage of the population would like to know about the types of biological research being performed in Nepal, but end up being puzzled by the terminologies and jargons used in research articles.
We aim to provide knowledge about local research in layman terms, so that the general public can understand and come to appreciate the importance of such research even in a developing country like Nepal.

⦁    Promote Biotech start-ups: 
Biotechnology, in the context of Nepal, is a subject without any governmental job opportunity. In this case, Biotech start-ups are the only organizations that can support the growing number of biotech graduates. We understand this fact and thus it becomes our duty to promote Biotech start-ups with the help of articles and advertisements.

⦁    Disseminate reports about BSN programs:
Even as a voluntary non-profit organization, BSN has been able to achieve a lot for the promotion of Biotechnology in Nepal. We also aim to highlight these to give readers an insight about the type of programs conducted or supported by BSN.

⦁    Commend accomplishments and research by Nepali life-scientists:
As a portal into the scientific world, we aim to commend recent accomplishments in the field of life sciences by publishing news articles about them. Accomplishments may encompass honors conferred upon a scientist, impactful research, or any other recognition.
