Biotechnology Society of Nepal (BSN) organised meeting with the agenda of inclusion of Biotechnology in Public Service Commissions at Asian Institute of technology and Management (AITM) on May 11, 2018. Meeting was hosted by Mr. Hari Krishna Saiju, HOD Biotechnology, AITM and Mr. Nabin Narayan Munankarmi, President BSN. Delegates from different government institutions like Nepal Academy of Science and Technology (NAST), National Agriculture research council (NARC), Department of Plant Resources (DPR) and Academic institutions like Central Department of Biotechnology, TU, NIST, Kantipur Valley College and White House Intl. College were present. Also there was the presence of biotech company; Ficus Biotech Pvt. Ltd. 
Meeting got the conclusion with following key points:
*Need to Establish a status report of Biotechnology in Nepal
*Need to strengthen the entrepreneurial environment and upbringing for Biotech Graduates.
*Need to redraft the National Biotechnology Policy.
